THE Walkers Club App promotes long distance walks across Scotland.
There are currently four walks on the app. Each walk has a map, detailed stage information, a space for diary notes and the option to take or download photos at each stage.
The start/stop facility enables you to time yourself at each stage and, if you want some competition, join the leader board and see how you fare against others in the same age group as you! If you don't want to walk the entire route in one go you can stop the journal after each stage - you'll get a tick for that stage of the walk and you can carry on another time.
